Bring the work

Keep your task system. Write back the proof.

Obsidian import

Pro brings Markdown tasks into the session

Todoist import

Pro pulls planned tasks into Attractor

Calendar write-back

Completed sessions become Calendar events

More sources

The Pro import layer can keep expanding

Focus Awareness, Pro

Catch the drift before it wins.

Focus Awareness reads the shape of a session, not the contents of your work. App context, switches, and activity counts become a model-checked signal, then a glow nudge. Screen OCR stays on-device and behind explicit macOS permission.

Session context

Active only in focus sessions

Activity signal

Counts activity, never records text

Drift nudge

Visible at the edge, never blocking

Model choice

Bring a key. Or bring no cloud at all.

Attractor does not force one AI path. Use an OpenAI-compatible BYOK provider, or run a downloaded MLX model fully offline on this Mac.

BYOK

OpenAI-compatible

Use your own chat completions endpoint, model name, and API key.

Local MLX

Fully offline model

Run downloaded Qwen, Gemma, or LFM models on this Mac.

Glow nudge

Edge signal

Distraction checks pass confidence gates, cooldowns, and per-session limits before the screen edge lights up.

Direct download

The beta DMG is signed, notarized, and distributed through the Sparkle beta channel. Beta Pro access is included during this phase.

  • Focus Awareness only runs during active focus sessions.
  • Keystrokes are counted, not captured.
  • Window and URL context stay under user-controlled permissions.
  • Screen OCR is on-device, permission-gated, and user-controlled.
  • Model checks can run through BYOK or a fully offline local MLX model.
  • The timer stays free. Imports, write-back, awareness, and nudges belong to Pro.

FAQ

The boundary in plain terms.

Attractor is a Mac-native focus cockpit that connects local tasks, optional imported tasks, a free focus timer, Calendar write-back, and optional Focus Awareness signals.

Which task sources does Attractor support?

Attractor supports Obsidian and Todoist task import in the Pro layer, with the import layer designed to expand to more work sources.

Does Attractor sync with Calendar?
